Free Yoga Day, January 8, 2011
Over 80 people participated in our Free Yoga Day. We raised $337.00 for the Ellen Hines Smith Girls' Home. Thanks to all of you for your generosity!
Community Yoga
January's Community Class raised funds that were donated to St Luke's Free Medical clinic in remembrance of Danny Meeks.

Families enjoyed hot chocolate and a warm view of Spartanburg's Christmas Parade on December 14th.
Community Yoga
In December the Community Yoga Class collected funds for the Spartanburg Humane Society. January's funds will be donated to St. Luke's Free Medical Clinic in honor of Danny Meeks.

YOGAlicious Instructor, Elaine Lang, completed Part I of the Anusara Immersion at City Yoga with Stacey Millner-Collins. She will continue Part II beginning Dec 4.
Community Yoga
In November the Community Yoga Class collected over $30 for the Haven.
December's funds will be donated to the Spartanburg Humane Society.

Community Yoga
Good karma, great price! On Tuesday mornings, YOGAlicious offers a donation-based all levels yoga class. Each month a different non-profit organization is selected to receive 50% of all donations collected.
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month the Community Yoga class raised over $50 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation during October.
Anatomy and Therapeutics
The Spartanburg Kula was well represented at the Bindu in Cornelius, NC to study Anatomy and Therapeutics with Martin Kirk, Certified Anusara instructor on October 15-17.

In September, YOGAlicious will turn FOUR and celebrate by expanding to a new downtown location at 145 East Main Street. We will have free parking available in the Carolina Cash parking lot with easy access to the studio on both Broad and Main Streets.

Carolina Anusara Teachers' Gathering
Adrienne and Catherine attended the Carolina Anusara Teachers' gathering in Black Mountain August 14-16. It was a weekend retreat shared with wonderful teachers and fellow students. Professor Douglas Brooks spoke on many interpretations of the Bhagavad Gita. We are excited to share what we learned with our students at YOGAlicious!
